Update on Shipaton judging

We've officially finished our final prize selections for Shipaton 2026. All participants with a submission should now have an email in their inbox letting them know whether their app was selected for a prize.

We reviewed thousands of submissions over the past couple of weeks, and it’s been amazing to see what this community has built.

I want to take a moment to say congratulations to everyone who shipped an app. Whether you won a prize, submitted before the deadline, or needed a little more time to get it out into the world. You took an idea and turned it…

Now YOU get to judge us!

Our team is in the middle of judging all your amazing Shipathon submissions, and we thought it’d be fun to turn the tables a little bit.

You might remember the Conflict of Interest Award, our dedicated category for RevenueCat employees and sponsor employees to participate in the Shipathon without being eligible for the actual prizes.

Well, we want you to pick the winner.

We built a little tool where you can check out those submissions and rank them. Anyone who registered for the Shipathon is eligible to vote, whether you made the submission deadline or not.

Final Friday Newsletter: Submissions are officially closed!

Hey Shippers!

Wow, what a couple months! Yesterday we officially closed submissions for Shipaton 2026. We finished with nearly 5× the submissions from last year!

Congrats to everyone who shipped! Taking an idea and turning it into something people can actually download is a huge accomplishment. Take a minute to enjoy that.

And if you’re still stuck in app review, or didn’t quite make the deadline: congrats for building. Finish it out and you're still left with your very own app in the store! Please don’t let this be the end of your app’s story.

We made a little thank-you…

Deadline extended!

Hey Shippers!

The deadline is fast approaching, and we know many of you are still waiting on app review and could use a little more time to submit.

To give everyone a better chance, we’re adding a bit of extra time: the official Shipaton deadline has been extended by 12 hours! Submissions will now close on Thursday, October 1st at 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time.

We’re still on a tight judging schedule, but we hope these extra hours give you the breathing room you need to get your apps live in the store and finalize your submissions on Devpost.
